The Comparative Analysis of the Main Anthropometric Indicators and Self Estimation of Physical Activity of the Students

The length of the active working life period increases. The interest about the ways of keeping the quality of life, the high working capacities and potentiality of individual creative abilities is high. Many of habits of healthy lifestyle and behaviours are developed during the late adolescence and early adulthood. Decline of individuals physical activity in that period have input for future life quality. The physical working capacities are based on the physical health, physical development level, physical activity and healthy lifestyle. The target of the paper is to evaluate the principle anthropometric characteristics and provide analysis of the students’ physical activity levels. Regular physical activity is a protective against numerous chronic diseases and gives important contribution for health lifestyle. The main benefits of Physical activity are diseases preventions, stress management, have a fun cycling, improved body beauty. Recent research suggests that a significant percentage of students didn’t get adequate physical activity. The information concerning eating habits, sports habits, life styles is very important. We have provided questionnaire for students from different high schools concerning physical activities. Respondents were in aged from 19 years till 33 years.The questionnaire includes positions that allow us to collect information about sport’s and physical activity during working day time and after it. The questionnaire embraced all spectrums of week’s physical activities. The data of questionnaire were evaluated according the scale (in points) and calculated. Those allow us to divided respondents into subgroups according the levels of physical activity (low, moderate, and good, high).The determination of degree of physical activity is essential for answering questions on health sciences for the identification of target groups for health-related intervention. Estimation of height parameters for students from different high school shows that the average value was 169.02±0,73 cm. The individual variations of the height were in the interval between 154 cm till 185, 5 cm. The respondents of the groups, where the demands of physical fitness were high, had higher height parameters then respondents from group, whose future speciality didn’t need high physical preparedness. The average value of body mass in the examined group was 61,82±1,09 kg. The problem of overweight exist in the students population. According the questionnaire’s results corresponded to the good physical activity level.
