2014
Jānis Laukevics, Jānis Bojārs, Augusts Ruplis

In 1981, the planned lysine production output of 1000 tons in a year was reached by means of building new production plant workshops and installing modern equipment. During the period from 1964 until 1971, the lysine production scheme was considerably improved. The plant employed 800 specialists and, apart from producing lysine, provided heating to Livani. A group of specialists taking part in introducing the production of lysine in Latvia were awarded the State Grant of the Latvian Socialist Republic in 1980.
