9 -Alkyl-6-amino-2-triazolylpurines, called push-pull purines, thanks to their fluorescent properties, are attracting an interest in a field of photonic materials, for example, as derivatization reagents. The aim was to develop a synthesis of 9-alkyl-6-amino-2-(1,2,3-triazolyl)purines from 2,6-dichloro-9H-purine. During the research, there were developed two methods for synthesizing the target structures; six new structures were obtained. Methods of synthesis are needed to be optimized.
