Mathematics with Software Mathematica at Riga Technical University

Teaching of mathematics to the students of the first and second year at Riga Technical University is discussed in the paper, by using software MATHEMATICA. Two different approaches are explored. The first approach refers to the students of the first year who learn linear algebra, analytical geometry and calculus. The second approach is applied when teaching numerical methods to the students of the second year.
