In present work exanimated alumina-silica hollow spheres - cenospheres are by product of coal combustion at thermal and power plant. Are established chemical composition, phase composition, phase transition during thermal treatment, bulk density, macro and microstructure. Investigated metallo-ceramic composites material with cenospheres, obtained by powder metallurgy route. Relative density, compression strength, friction coefficient are determinates for obtained material. Noted that, cenosphere can use for close porosity increasing and weight reduction filler.
