Sustainable management of land use allows justifying that the land-related resources are used for the public benefits. A scientific network should be considered as a platform for disseminating new knowledge and sharing good experience about the activities in land use management field. The aim of the study is to explore and discuss the results of recent research within the framework of European Academy of Land Use and Development (EALD). The main findings of the study show that EALD significantly contributes to the development of scientific though and sharing the experience in land use management.
