Energy-efficient Development of District Heating System

The options for improvement of the district heating system efficiency are a topic that has recently been actively debated among scientists and district heating companies. This issue has become even more topical due to the increased requirements in increasing energy efficiency of buildings, which reduces the total heat consumption. This tendency forces the district heating companies to look for new operation models in order to reduce the operating costs and raise competitiveness of the district heating systems, if compared to other heat sources.
