The Role of International Agreements in Customs Matters

The paper deals with international agreements as a source of law, the adoption of them, their characteristics, classification and validity. Particular attention is attracted to customs issues concernig these agreements, which directly or indirectly affect the customs function realization in the world as well as international organizations involved in customs legislation making process. To illustrate the theory there have been used the statistical data that characterize activity of the international trade and customs authorities.
