The Refrigeration Systems Efficiency Improvement by Installation of Displacer in Evaporator

The paper consider experimental investigation of heat exchange from inside boiling of Freon in 1,5 m long horizontal evaporator done from cylindrical pipe with inner diameter from 10 to 25 mm. The improvement of heat exchange are provided by Freon boiling in narrow space between displacer and evaporator surfaces also intensive convection appear because of liquid-steam mixture velocity increase.
