A study of nanofibre composites manufactured by electrospinning from poly(vinyl alcohol) solution of hemp shives is presented. In this work the structure of electrospun webs from PVA and PVA/shives are analysed. The webs of nanofibres composites were formed containing different proportions of components. It was found that the average diameter and the structure of electrospun fibres was changed significanly by the amount of shives added.
