The article discusses a study on the use of internal proportional detector for calibrating the dosimeter to measure backscattering x-ray field. Calibration conditions are cited including angle of incidence, energy range and radiation field. The purpose of the research is to determine the differences of dosimeter calibration coefficients for the x-ray backscattering field as well as for the x-ray beam. Information on the method and calibration devices used is presented.
