In this dissertation the first chapter presents an analysis of the current situation of the theory and practice of the aircraft maintenance. The second chapter contains the development of mathe-matical models of the aircraft maintenance applied to a particular aircraft fleet and specific types of service in the airline which makes it possible to conduct a targeted job of maintaining the re-quired level of safety and regularity by using of the assigned aircraft fleet and its serviceability and efficiency of operation. In the third chapter presents the model of the condition of aircraft in flight and management of the aircraft during maintenance and evaluation of the condition of the aircraft after equipment failure in flight. In the fourth chapter ,based on the results obtained in previous chapters, an optimal model of system for the controlling the processes of preparation the aircraft for flight with delays due to technical reasons is established. In the conclusion presents findings of the research and testing of the results during aircraft operations airline. Appendices contain statistical data used in the modeling of processes in aircraft maintenance procedures and their implementation in the airline. Testing of the developed procedures was carried out at A/S AirBaltic.
