Purine and its analogs are useful as fluorescent sensors and reporters for biological applications and are important molecular scaffolds in terms of medicinal chemistry. In continuation of our previous work,1 herein we report a regioselective synthesis of 6-/2-(1,2,3-triazolyl)purine and 6-(1,2,3-triazolyl)-7-deazapurine derivatives.
