The presented research results pertains to the field of wind power engineering, particularly – to the wind equipment intended for transformation of airflow kinetic energy into the mechanical motion of working head (e.g., into the rotation of outgoing shaft). The objective of the research is to increase the efficiency of wind energy transformation. The device intended for realization of the method consists of rotor and al least of one plane blade, which is fastened to the rotor with the ability to change the orientation of its working surface relative to the direction of incoming wind flow. Each blade is fastened to the rotor with a cylindrical axial hinge, which longitudinal axis is parallel to the rotor’s longitudinal axis. Rotation axes of rotor and blades are mutually interconnected with transmission, besides angular rotation frequency ratio between rotor and blades is equal to 2.
