Acoustic emission (AE) is one of the most perspective diagnostic methods for aircraft damages and fatigue life that can be used during exploitation in real time operations. Acoustic emissions is material elastic wave radiating process, which causes the local dynamic rearrangement of material internal structure. AE method in comparison with other non-destructive inspection and diagnostic methods has proven benefits, such as high sensitivity, ability to determine the defect coordinates real-time control, etc.
