It is clear for a number of years that the global and regional goals set for climate change and sustainable development are not reaching the impact as was hoped and/or predicted. Thus, the engagement of researchers in analysis of trends and development of responses to improve results to obtain the goals set is very important Conference of Environmental and Climate Technologies – CONECT 2014 has been envisaged as a regular scientific forum bringing together researchers, policy makers and industry professionals. The main aim was to acquaint researchers with achievements in the area of energy systems and environmental engineering and to give scientists, PhD students and professionals an opportunity to present and publish the results of their research.
