Management of residential buildings comprises a number of economic activities. All of individuals’ activities carried out whilst a building is in use are closely related in that their implementation to a greater or lesser extent is inter-linked. Development trends in the field of managing residential buildings change from year to year. This is due to the interplay of a number of political, economic, and social factors. The aim of this paper is to clarify what are the development trends in the management of property and the factors that determine these trends. The paper will present the concept of the process of residential building management, the economic factors that determine how this process develops, as well as the mechanism for setting prices.
