This study is focused on the human body anthropometric measurements and their automated application in CAD/CAM systems. Anthropometric data gathered automatically – measurements of human body taken by 3D scanner – were processed using ScanWorx system automated data-extraction software. Upon completion of data processing, their extraction and selection and generation of new files is performed using the new software developed for reading of measures.ascii.csv files and saving of new CAD system GRAFIS measurement charts with the file extension *.mas, which is recognised by the system, thus a solution is found for application of the data, which are gathered automatically in CAD/CAM systems and thus eliminating routine work. The patterns drafted as a result of the data use have been tested by making sewn torso basic block pattern samples; evaluation of their appearance and fit has been done. Automated application of the scanned data provides for taking automated garment designing to a higher level.
