Abstract This paper provides an overview of the methodology how to provide technical assessment of public buildings for governmental authorities’ needs and first results of practical implementation of this method in Latvia. The specific challenges of using such assessment for control purposes during of operation public buildings are highlighted in the work. Based on the risk assessment there are new interactive approach for reporting of results for users of public buildings and stakeholders. Amount of risk assessment were representative to identify most problematic areas of public building for more detail evaluation in future.
