This paper presents the experience of RTU at development of an attractive, open-workspace laboratory for students. Various content and activity management solutions are described, as well as cooperation strategy with electrical engineering businesses. Paper presents multiple methods of both, university and high-school student involvement in electronics and prototyping and evaluates the student feedback and involvement.
