The Alumnus of the Tartu University Christoph von Schröder (1855-1915) worked as a doctor in Riga, directed a sanatorium wich offered treatment on the basis of applications with water in Sassenhof, Riga. At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20eth century he was a pastor.
