EOC composites with various amounts (5, 10, 20, 30, 40%) of hemp fibres, obtained at different steam explosion times, are obtained. In the framework of the work specific procedure for preparation of hemp fibres suitable for introduction into the matrix of EOC is developed. Appropriate technological procedures for the development of hemp fibres containing EOC composites by using two-roll mills as well as for the processing the obtained composites by means of compression moulding are developed to obtain specimens for tensile and rheology tests.
