Abstract | Demand response in electricity use is approach with high level of novelty and has wide potential in future. Demand response in DH systems depends from electricity price in comparison with heat energy price and increase of renewable electricity share. This paper sketches analysis of possibilities to use electricity as a source for municipal district heating system. Methodology for potential demand response activities in DH sector is presented by algorithm with five modules. Diagram of shares of heat load and hourly prolongation versus outdoor temperature is presented. DH system demand response flexibility and potential is proposed to define by use of two correction coefficients of heating demand during heating season. |
