Design of delivery materials possessing biological activity is an ideal strategy for various therapies. nine 4-(alkylpyridinium)-1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives with different lengts of alkyl moieties at quaternized nitrogen atom at position 4 of the 1,4-DHP ring and with various numbers and positions of propargyl moiety/ties have been chosen for evaluation of the influence of pharmacophore group on structure-activity relationship.
