The regulation abilities of load generation and the balance in the electrical power system are the main objectives: many Directives have been adopted in the European Union to reach the scope of reliable and safe energy generation, transmission and distribution. The aim of the paper is the creation of the model of effective load regulation and distribution, using the abilities to shave load from peak zones. The management of the load depends from the ability to accumulate electrical energy in distribution network in hours when power generation from RES is high, but consumption is low and using this energy during hours of peak loads. To understand if selected energy storage device is profitable or not, prefeasibility study should be performed, which includes NPV multidimensional model.
