New material and technology for solar collectors have been developed. Such technology that allows the production of HPSC solar energy absorbing materials capable withstand 600 °C temperatures for at least 250 days has been developed. Coatings have high coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE) that match of the metal substrate, by matching the CTE of the underlying metal, the coatings resist flaking. This material is based on the glass-crystalline enamel coating on tubular stainless steel pipe. The high-temperature resistance not only by the specific additives added to the enamel coating frit is ensured, but also by the nanosized sol-gel coating over the enamel layer.
