Wireless Power Transfer for LoRa Sensor Nodes

In this study it was experimentally proven that it is possible to use wireless power transfer design for WSN exploiting LoRaWAN technology. There were used two RF – DC converter boards: voltage multiplier and commercial RF-DC converter. The experiment was performed with two different type and gain antenna pairs. Both RF – DC converter performance were compared, and calculated required time to accumulate specified amount of energy for described node transmission.
