Nanostructured coatings based on Ti-Cu were developed to solve one of the topical problems of mechanism failure – reducing friction and wear of machine parts. This research presents ion-plasma sputtered intermetallic, conglomerate and nitride coatings based on Ti-Cu developed to improve the friction-resistance of steel parts.
