The hall of Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre was made thanks to the student campus of Rīga Technical University or, formerly, Rīga Polytechnic Institute. The Ķīpsala building’s design was developed by architect Anna Reinfelde in Pilsētprojekts institute’s workshop No. 5 led by architect Uldis Bērziņš. The wooden structures of Ķīpsala hall may be considered unique even nowadays. In later years, wooden structures for Inčukalns swimming pool, Daugavpils trade centre Ditton and other buildings have also been ordered and produced in Lithuania.
