The current research aims at manufacturing and investigating of spelt and oat husks derived
lignocellulosic fillers reinforced polypropylene composites in comparison to commercial wood flour
containing polypropylene based system. Structure and mechanical properties of the composites have been
investigated. It has been demonstrated that certain grain husks reinforced systems could be used to replace
traditional wood flour polypropylene composites in specific applications.
