The article discusses the application of the method of finite element analysis of the body structure of a railway tank. To assess the strength of its elements, taking into account the failure of the boiler fastenings to the frame, a three-dimensional model has been created. The degree of influence of the loosening of the clamps on the strength of the boiler attachment to the frame in the middle part is determined graphically The described measures allow an analysis of the reliability of mounting the boiler tank to the frame and increase its reliability.
