Adaptive Detection of Battery Energy Storage System Charge/Discharge Cycles Quantity
2019 IEEE 7th Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE 2019): Proceedings 2019
Romāns Petričenko, Dmitrijs Boreiko

aim of this paper is the research of battery energy storage system (BESS) technology` rational exploitation, namely, optimal distribution of charge/discharge cycles (CDC) selection. Our latest achievements in topic under consideration focuses on a BESS cycles’ constant quantity per week with further distribution by day using optimization procedure. However, the optimal operation planning (OOP) of BESS technology requires adaptive cycles` weekly quantity. To strive mentioned objective, we have implemented the cost of one CDC as criterion for the effect analysis on the BESS exploitation profitability. Last manipulation has allowed improving optimal BESS management.
