Transport and logistics are one of the most important sectors of the economy, whose share is increasing every year, which is determined by the globalization of business. In the Europe Union, the transport and storage sector employs around 11 million persons, accounting for more than 5% of total employment and almost 5% of GDP†. Successful industry development is unthinkable without the introduction of modern information technology, communication and electronics. Blockchains, virtual and augmented reality, Big Data, social networks, artificial intelligence applications, modelling and simulation methods, connected vehicles, chatbots, satellite navigation and communication systems, and others provide an increase the quality and efficiency of transport and logistics service.
