At Latvian Railway one of core problem involving to intensification of operation of Shkirotava station is investigated. Shkirotava station is selected for the solution of problem and investigation of technological process of marshalling stations. The present situation is analyzed and considered at Shkirotava station. Shkirotava station is considered as mass service system. The outgoing and ingoing flow of train is calculated for system of formation, system of reformation and system of dispatch. Distribution curves of busyness of rail track of yard „A", yard „B" and yard „J" are calculated. Load of yards of Shkirotava station are calculated. „Bottlenecks" are calculated in operation of Shkirotava station. The organizational and technical arrangements are recommended.
