. In this paper is presented a simulation model of the electric drive (ED) system for the diagnosis of an electric vehicle. Model is built by the method of spectral analysis of the electrical process of propulsion systems power supply. Moreover, the efficiency of ED is a key challenge for the research team. The developed model adequately imitates the electrical processes that occur in the power circuits of the ED system with an AC converter-fed motor. The developed model can be used for virtual studies of dynamic ED modes and studies, and optimization tasks.
