This paper describes the idea of interactive schedule board and its implementation at the Institute of Radioelectronics, Riga Technical University. An interactive schedule board will be placed at the door of each lecture room and will display actual schedule and messages from lecturers’ mobile phones. The LoRaWAN communication protocol and a LoRa network is used for last mile communication with schedule boards in this system.
