Article discusses logistics around multifunctional and widely reproducible model for testing university student’s practical knowledge and skills, matching them to the labor market needs, contributing to a university business cooperation, providing international outreach, increasing student’s employability, providing quality assurance for curriculum content and more. Authors argue that all these things can be accomplished by a trivial tool – virtual test that is voluntary, cannot be retaken, is highly applicable to the engineering sciences and does not require capital investments.
