The article considers the phenomenon of accelerated movement of small-sized objects in a pulsed electromagnetic field. For experimental studies capacitor-type pulsed current generators were used. The experiments were carried out on metal powders with a size of 50-200 microns and compact metal fragments with a weight of 1-50 g. The influence of mass, electrical conductivity and magnetic permeability of the particle material on the process of particle movement was established. This work has been supported by the European Regional Development Fund within the Activity 1.1.1.2 “Post-doctoral Research Aid” of the Specific Aid Objective 1.1.1 “To increase the research and innovative capacity of scientific institutions of Latvia and the ability to attract external financing, investing in human resources and infrastructure” of the Operational Programme “Growth and Employment” (No. 1.1.1.2/VIAA/2/18/335).
