Glycosidic Bond Formation in Liquid SO2
WG1 Workshop (Virtual Meeting 1) of COST Action 18132 "Innovative Glyconanomaterials for Biomedical Prognostic and Diagnostic Devices; Synthesis and Application": Program and Abstracts 2021
Krista Gulbe, Māris Turks

Herein we report a novel glycosylation procedure in liquid SO2 by employing differentially protected mannosyl and glucosyl fluorides. Depending on the reactivity of glycosyl donor various temperature regimes were applied and various types of O-, S- and C-glycosides were isolated in yields up to 95%.
