The aim of the research is to analyse the importance of e-commerce in business environment in Latvia. The focus of this research is on benefits – what e-commerce can give to companies in Latvia. The research methods include analysis, synthesis, descriptive method and analysis of statistical data – time rows. The businesses of Latvia should take an advantage of the opportunities that e-commerce offers and include it more in to their practices.
