Proof of origin of electricity (Proof of Origin) is an electronic document that proves the origin of the produced electricity (resources used for electricity production and electricity generation technology). Proofs of Origin of electricity can be traded, as well as used or deleted, with electricity market participants (end consumers) certifying the origin of the supplied electricity in the amount specified in the Proof of Origin.
