The research analyzes two objects. The first is a four-story steel frame with a constant propagation, which in accordance with the type of bond and floor height obtains maximum horizontal transitions and using the approximated EC 3 global stability estimate obtains the critical load coefficient αcr values. Considering the link system can be replaced with an equivalent stiff elastic supports, the second object is a two-story steel frame with a constant conduction, which depending on the stiffness of the lateral elastic support, obtains horizontal transitions, critical load coefficient αcr values and length reduction coefficient μ values. The calculations utilized the computer program “Dlubal RFEM 5” and Microsoft Excel.
