Abstract Rakstā apskatīti dažādi jaunākie pētījumi par nogulsnēm dzeramā ūdens apgādes tīklos un piedāvāta vienkārša metode nogulšņu likvidēšanai izmantojot skalošanu ar tīrās frontes principu (plūsmas ātrums 1.5 m/s, divi skalojamā posma caurules tilpumi). Šo skalošanas metodi efektīvi var izmantot, lai iegūtu nogulsnes un noteiktu to ķīmisko un mikrobioloģisko sastāvu.
