            At the Latvian universities the number of students every year decreases at faculties where the main subjects are
mathematics, physics and chemistry. The teacher’s task is to cause interest in studying mathematics. For this purpose the teacher uses new methods and technology. The research took place in form 7. The received results (51 questionnaires) are inconsistent, that is why the research will be continued. It is planned to analyse 204 questionnaires.
