Biznesa procesu elastīgums ir viens no faktoriem organizācijas izveidošanā un darbībā. Viena no pieejām kā var sasniegt biznesa procesu elastīguma ir noteikt labāko pieredzi kāda darbība izpildē noteiktajā organizācijas struktūrvienībā un ieviest šo pieredzi citās organizācijas struktūrvienībās. Šī pieeja ir labi piemērota fraktāļu organizācijām, kurās katra struktūrvienība ir neatkarībā no citām struktūrvienībām informācijas sistēmas izstrādē un uzturēšanā. Šajā raksts ir aprakstīti biznesa procesu izveidošanas dzīves cikla divi posmi, proti biznesa procesu projektēšana, vadīšana un novērtēšana.
