Development of Methodology for Assessing the Service Life of Tank Wagons with Boilers Made of Alluminum Alloys

The review and analysis of research in the field of assessment and restoration of the resource of tank wagons with boilers made of aluminum alloys, which allows us to justify in detail the relevance and consider the current state of the object of research. The aim of the work is to develop a set of methods for assessing the resource of the main elements of the metal structure of specialized tank wagons with boilers made of aluminum alloys. A block diagram of a tank wagon with an aluminum alloy boiler has been developed, which makes it possible to design and modernize the wagon as a whole and its main elements, taking into account the statistical data of damage in operation. An algorithm and methodology for estimating the service life of tank wagons with boilers made of aluminum alloys are formed, which allow using graph theory to choose the most rational repair option and using a refined calculation and analytical assessment to determine its volume and the period of further operation of the wagon.
