Thermit Welding of Rails on the Latvian Railway

On the Latvian railway jointless a way already is the obligatory attribute of overhead way structure. At his piling the thermit method of rails welding is a leading role. Presently in the area of pointer translations he is the basic method of rails connection. It is advantageous technology, different large flexibility of application economic. On the Latvian railway technology of the thermit welding of rails use the German company „Electro--thermit” technology.
