The paper analyzes the individual approaches to the implementation of bachelor's and master's study courses in the field of transport engineering in the course of course implementation. Mathematical programming tasks that correspond to the principles of sequence and availability have been developed and technically implemented in the methodological work. MOODLE LMS system with Virtual Programming Lab plugin was used as a methodological platform. Approbation of the developed system has been performed in seven groups of students from 2017 to 2020. Based on the results, the content of the study course has been improved, it has been adapted to the individual requirements of students, as well as methodological recommendations for the use of the system have been provided.
