Control System for Terrestrial Mobile Objects (CSTMO) presents the automated system prototype, which solves some public and economic problems, such as traffic safety and movement optimization in the cities. Object-oriented database management system is chosen as the basis of CSTMO. Classification of the basic scopes of object-oriented databases technologies is given; its advantages and disadvantages are designated; CSTMO architecture, logic principles and features are described in this article.
