The article considers factors and circumstances with which difficulties of building up and use of risk management models are connected opposing those to positive effect gained from the use of the models. The requirements that are recommended to be put forward for the model that is developed are summarized. Separately it is stressed that human resources have central role in the implementation of risk management. For the substantiation of this thesis cognitions reflected in scientific literature are summarized and concept of risk management knowledge level within enterprise is introduced. During the analysis of difficulties of use of risk management models main attention is drawn to impact of quantitative and qualitative changes of enterprise environment on the model. In order to recognize discrepancy between existing risk management model and demands in time, it is offered to use early monitoring between model reassessment times. Its frequency may be estimated using the developed formula. In conclusion possibilities of use of risk management models and principles and their benefits are compared.
